1. Who we are
Telemachus Godyssey Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for any personal data described in this policy. Contact us at privacy@telemachusgodyssey.com.
2. The app collects no personal data
Telemachus: Journey to Divinity is built to be private by design:
- No account or sign-up — you never give us a name, email, age or any detail to use the app.
- No analytics or tracking — there are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers.
- No advertising.
- No internet connection used — the app makes no network calls; it runs fully offline.
- No location data.
- On-device only — game progress, scores, settings and any name a child types into a local leaderboard are stored only on the device, are never transmitted to us or anyone else, and are removed if you delete the app.
Because the app collects and transmits no personal data, there is nothing for us to store, share, sell or lose. This is a deliberate design choice and a core promise of the product.
3. The one exception: our website mailing list
If you visit telemachusgodyssey.com and choose to enter your email address to "Join the Godyssey" / hear about the launch, we process that email address. This is the only personal data we collect anywhere.
- What we collect: your email address (and nothing else).
- Why: to send you occasional updates about the app's launch, improvements, and new games we release. This is our only purpose.
- Legal basis (UK GDPR): your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Who processes it: a reputable third-party email provider, acting as our processor under a data-processing agreement. We do not sell or share your email with anyone else.
- How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the list is no longer used.
- Unsubscribe: every email has an unsubscribe link, or email privacy@telemachusgodyssey.com.
This list is intended for adults. Please don't sign up if you are under 16. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will delete it.
4. Children's privacy (Children's Code & COPPA)
We take children's privacy seriously and have designed the app to put children's best interests first:
- The app collects no data from children — no personal information, no device identifiers, no location, no behavioural profiling, and no "nudge" techniques to extract data.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through any channel. The website mailing list is for adults only.
- Under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), because we collect no personal information from children in the app, no verifiable parental-consent mechanism is required; if we ever learned we had collected a child's personal information, we would delete it promptly.
- We maintain a conformance record against the ICO Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code), available to regulators on request.
5. Your rights
Where we hold personal data about you (in practice, only a mailing-list email address), you have the right under UK GDPR to: access it; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its use; withdraw consent; and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email privacy@telemachusgodyssey.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint — though we'd appreciate the chance to help first.
6. Security and international transfers
We keep the small amount of data we hold (mailing-list emails) protected using our email provider's security measures. If that provider stores data outside the UK, it does so under safeguards recognised by UK data-protection law (such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses).

We may update this policy; the current version will always be on this page with the "last updated" date above.
