Telemachus: Journey to Divinity is published by Telemachus Godyssey Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17355940, registered office Blinkhorns, 27 Mortimer Street, London, W1T 3BL.
The app saves progress so it isn’t lost when the app closes. That includes which games have been played and best scores, stars, drachma, favor and achievements earned, Greek words learned and stickers collected, a player name if one is typed into the Hall of the Gods leaderboard, and sound and music settings.
All of this is stored only in the app’s own storage on the device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it. There is no server. Deleting the app deletes this information with it.
The Hall of the Gods lets a player type a name to be ranked against characters from Greek mythology. That name is stored only on the device and is only ever shown on that device. It is not uploaded, not shared with other players, and not visible to us. Players are welcome to use a nickname or a first name only, and we suggest they do.
The picture cards and the Mythos Library read Greek words and stories aloud. To do this the app uses the text-to-speech feature built into the phone or tablet, provided by Apple or Google as part of the operating system.
The word or sentence being read is passed to that system feature. On most modern devices this is handled on the device itself, but that behaviour is controlled by the operating system and its own privacy settings, not by us. We receive no audio, store no audio, and the app has no microphone access.
This app is intended for children and families. Because it collects no personal information at all, there is nothing for a parent to review, delete, or consent to.
The app is designed to comply with the UK GDPR and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children’s Code), the EU GDPR, and the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). No personal information is collected from children under 13 — or from anyone else.

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase. To remove everything the app has stored, reset progress in the app’s settings or delete the app from the device.
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office, at ico.org.uk.
If we ever change how the app works in a way that affects privacy — for example if a future version added an online feature — we will update this policy and change the date above before that version is released. Material changes will also appear in the app’s release notes.
